HD16 Crawler Bulldozer

The HD16 hydraulic transmission bulldozer combines high technology content, advanced design, strong power and high productivity, and copes with harsh working environments while remaining easy to service.

It is mainly applied to pushing, excavation, backfilling of earthwork and other bulk material operations on roads, railways, mines and airports — indispensable for defence projects, mine construction, urban and rural roads and water conservancy works.

A Weichai WD10G178E25 engine gives strong torque output with low fuel consumption. The gearbox uses a planetary gear, multi-plate clutch, hydraulically engaged forced-lubrication structure with three forward and three reverse gears controlled through a hydraulic control valve.

The closed cooling system holds tank pressure at a specific value to raise the evaporation temperature and heat dissipation efficiency of the coolant, with engine-driven forced air supply.

The 14 MPa working hydraulic system runs stably and includes overload protection, greatly reducing the failure rate of hydraulic components. Waterproof connectors, new relays and injection-moulded instruments effectively eliminate electrical faults, and the instrument box integrates air conditioning, electrics and gauges.

The full box-type main frame is welded from steel plate and integrated with the rear axle box for high impact load capacity and resistance to bending and twisting. The splayed-beam swing balance suspension transmits working and impact loads into the main frame, improving stability in complex conditions.

The standard straight-tilt blade gives powerful cutting force; an optional three-shank ripper handles clay and frozen ground.
